Gathering Gatesville will present its Spring into Summer event for students across all campuses of Gatesville Independent School District on Monday, May 6.
The event will be from 5-7:30 p.m. and will be held at Gatesville Elementary School.
Spring into Summer is designed to inform parents and students about the various activities that are available during the summer.
“We have invited businesses and other entities that have programs, events, and fun activities for families to do during the summer,” Michelle Martin said. “We have summer sports camps, movie theaters, museums, city parks and recreation, 4-H, and more.”
Martin explained that a calendar of events regarding local camps and vacation Bible schools has been put together as well.
A list of vendors includes local camps, educational, theater, music, local VBS events, area family activities, state and local parks, libraries, museums, fun centers, local dance, art lessons, sports, 4-H, and the Boys and Girls Club of Gatesville.
