Gatesville High School choir students compete at UIL contest

On Saturday, Feb. 17, Mrs. Wells and Dr. Klingler took 21 Gatesville High School choir students to the UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest.

This will be the largest group to ever compete at state level in Gatesville High School history.

The students include:

Class 1 (Advanced) Solo:

Anna Phillips, superior rating, advances to state.

Paisley Wells, superior rating, advances to state.

Nevin Benning, superior rating, advances to state.

Katie Hopson, superior rating, advances to state.

Roman Wallace, superior rating, advances to state.

Memphis Wells, superior rating, advances to state.

Coral Bryant, superior rating, advances to state.

Nahdiah Appleton, superior rating, advances to state.

Ranyah Garraway, superior rating, advances to state.

Eli Alvarez, superior rating, advances to state.

Devyn Ayala, superior rating, advances to state.

Amelia Holden, excellent rating.

Gracie Key, excellent rating.

Vanessa Robledo, excellent rating.

Brooke Henry, excellent rating.

Sabin Brown, excellent rating.

Katelyn Sanchez, excellent rating.

Class 2 (Moderate) Solo:

Rylan VanHorn, superior rating.

Emy Robles, superior rating.

Class 3 (Beginner) Solo:

Charles McLeod, superior rating.

Chloe Corp, superior rating.
