Gatesville Parks and Recreation has opened registration for youth flag football and volleyball. Registration for both leagues opened on Friday, July 21 and will close on Thursday, Aug. 31 and will cost $50 per participant.

Flag football divisions will include five years old and kindergarten, first and second grade, third and fourth grade, and fifth and sixth grade. Skills day will be Saturday, Sept. 2, and the draft will be during the week of Wednesday, Sept. 6.
The flag football season will begin on Monday, Oct. 2 with a game each Monday or Tuesday.
Youth volleyball divisions will include third and fourth grade, along with fifth and sixth grade. There will be a draft during the week of Wednesday, Sept. 6.
The volleyball season will commence on Saturday, Oct. 7 with a game each week on Saturday.
