Field Day fun at Gatesville Primary School

Gatesville Primary School recently celebrated their Field Day on the Tommy Davidson Field at McKamie Stadium. The theme for this year’s Field Day was “Leave a little Hornet Pride wherever you go.” Various stations were set up for the students to participate in fun activities. One of the favorite stations was an inflatable where students could climb, bounce, and go down a slide. Field Day, which is a yearly event at the primary school, was put on hold for a couple of years due to COVID. The event resumed at Gatesville Primary in 2022 and was the first Field Day that allowed parents to join-in on the fun.
