Deniece (Niece) Clifton, age 60, of Gatesville, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, in Temple.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 6, at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Immediately following the services, her family attended a celebration of Deniece’s life held at Texas Station Event Center.
Patti Deniece Clifton was born on May 5, 1962, in Lovington, New Mexico to the late Clifford and Loretta Cole Bills. She grew up in Denver City, Texas and graduated from Denver City High School. She married Randy A. Clifton March 17, 1992. They have resided in Gatesville since 1998. She worked locally for Nolte Construction and the Nolte Family. Deniece had the ability to light up every room she entered. Her children and her grandchildren were her world. She gave everything she had, and never took more than she needed. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law, O.A. and Kathy Clifton; late husband, James Green; and mother and father-in-law, Bill and Joann Green.
Deniece is survived by her husband, Randy A. Clifton; children, Austin Clifton and wife, Kim, Cyndi Clifton, Randall Green and significant other, Michele Evans, Starla Smith and husband, Chris, Alan Clifton, Kyle Clifton and partner, Whitney Billings; two sisters, and many beloved family members; grandchildren, Elijah, Jamie, Haylea, Jaynee, Ha’Ane, Tasi’Ana, Mai’Ana, Sean, Jackson, Liam, and Kennedy.
