CRSP members busy raising money

Posted

Members of the Coryell Retired School Personnel (CRSP) have been busy since the start of this year raising money to finance several of their yearly statewide projects. First, a silent auction was held to raise money for scholarships. These will be awarded to two deserving seniors who will be graduating this spring and who are planning to attend college this fall, pursuing careers in education.

Then members played “Bingo for Books” at a recent meeting to gather money to purchase books to be presented to children ages twelve and under. Members donated a wide variety of Bingo prizes. Some members paid to play Bingo by the game, while others simply made a donation and enjoyed playing Bingo. This money will help purchase books for TRTA’s Statewide Children’s Book Project.
