Closings in observance of Good Friday, Easter

Businesses and governmental offices across Coryell County will join the rest of the nation on Friday, March 29 and Sunday, March 31 in celebration of Good Friday and Easter.

Closings in the immediate area include:

GOVERNMENT

The City of Gatesville, the City of Evant, and the Coryell County Courthouse will be closed on Friday, March 29. The City of Oglesby will be closed on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1.

The Farm Service Agency will remain open.

SCHOOLS

Gatesville Independent School District will be closed on Friday, March 29 and on Monday, April 1. Jonesboro ISD, Oglesby ISD, and Evant ISD will be closed on Friday, March 29.

The Boys & Girls Club of Gatesville will be closed on Friday, March 29.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

All local banks will remain open on Friday, March 29.

POST OFFICES

All local post offices will remain open.

LIBRARY

The Gatesville Public Library will be closed on Friday, March 29, Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31.

SENIOR CENTER

The Gatesville Senior and Multi-Service Center will be closed on Friday, March 29.

MUSEUM

The Coryell County Museum and Historical Center will be open on Friday, March 29.

NEWSPAPER

The Gatesville Messenger will remain open on Friday, March 29.
