CCGS to Investigate Scholastic Records for Genealogical Clues

Posted

The Coryell County Genealogical Society will meet at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, May 14, at the Gatesville Public Library for a program entitled “Locating Ancestors Through Scholastic Records.” Patti Huff Smith, a noted genealogical speaker, will present the program. Ms. Smith is a well-qualified speaker, being a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, National Genealogical Society, and Texas Genealogical Society, among other prestigious organizations.

School records can provide valuable information for genealogists, and we are fortunate to have excellent Coryell County school records at the Gatesville Public Library and the Coryell County Clerk’s Office.

The public is invited to join us for this informative program on a seldom used source of genealogical and historical research.
